Episode 60 – highlights
Something that you said in the episode is, “you lost yourself because you no longer put yourself first. You attempted to do everything for everyone, leaving very little space for you”. (Niranda Hoctor)
As a working mother herself, Niranda found solace in the message from this episode.
It gave her the ability to pull back from constantly working, and helped her give herself the permission to sit back and spend meaningful time with her family, children, and passions without feeling guilty.
For Veronica, this episode was like a stream of consciousness where she spoke from a raw and honest place as a mother and woman.
Skills over answers
It is more empowering for you to receive skills and know-how rather than answers because then you do the work yourself and become an active agent in your life.
The fast answer doesn’t work because it doesn’t create consistency, it doesn’t create true change. If I give everybody answers then nothing happens, however, if I challenge the shit out of somebody and help them see that… you can then give yourself permission to do this. (Veronica Cisneros)
Veronica’s mission is centered on providing women with the skills and tools that they need to create meaningful change in their lives.

Bringing husbands into the conversation
Many listeners share these podcast episodes with their partners since a lot of the content covers marriage and relationship advice.
Bringing partners into the conversation adds another level of authenticity and awareness around different topics in the discussion that relate to relationships and marriage.
Veronica often encourages listeners to share these episodes with their partners to initiate deep and meaningful conversations.
In my situation, when I played the episode back to my partner, we literally sat looking at each other and I said to him, “do you see … there’s a huge lack of communication because you are assuming I am okay and I am expecting things from you that you wouldn’t know because I’m not telling you” … what I took from that episode is that I need to speak up, I need to say what I want, I need to ask for help. (Niranda Hoctor)

Meet Veronica Cisneros
Hello, my name is Veronica Cisneros, I am a licensed marriage and family therapist for over 7 years, a Group Private Practice owner, a Mother of 3, and married for 21 years. I help housewives transform their marriage, communicate effectively and build confidence. Like you, I also struggled with cutting through the communication barriers. I felt like there was no reason for my husband and I to feel unhappy because we had it all. We just felt disconnected and our conversations were filled with avoidance, kids’ hobbies, and schedules.
I’ve helped plenty of couples in my private practice who struggled with similar issues. With my proven strategies and step-by-step skills, I’ve helped hundreds of women reignite their marriages. I am known for helping women step outside of their comfort zones, I don’t do bandaids, I only teach life-changing healing methods.
